Saturday 2nd—World Wetland Day. PC&L Display at Wetland Walkabouts open day.

Friday 15^th – PC&L General Meeting, Botanic Gardens Meeting Room, 10am – noon. Speaker is Derek Ball, who will present the Draft State of the Region Report. DELAYED due to rains.

Saturday 23^rd – Workshop 1, Introduction to Composting at Home, Mackay Community Gardens 9am—1pm

Sunday 2nd—Clean up Australia Day. PC&L Site - Riverside Drive.

Saturday 29^th – POSTPONED due to Rains -Tree Planting, Homebush.

Thursday 3rd - PC&L display & tree giveaway at MAPS Field Day

Friday 18^th – General meeting, Mirani. Speaker is Derek Ball, who will speak on the revised state of the regiona report, currently in draft form. 10 - noon.

Saturday 19th - Field Trip to see SCLMA 2007 Coastcare Award winning sites.

May

22nd & 23rd - BSES Open Day. PC&L display on Thursday 22nd.

Friday 23^rd – World Turtle Day.

Sunday 25th – Workshop 4, Introduction to Composting at Home, Mackay Community Gardens, opposite the base hospital. 9am—1pm

Saturday 31st - Field Trip to see Dave Hunters property, winner of Rural Press Individual Queensland Landcare Award.
