Project achievements and outcomes:
PCL is a strong supporter of healthy soils in our region. As part of our support we have sponsored composting and soil carbon projects and workshops, including:
- Composting at Home Workshops, delivered through Mackay Community Garden;
- On-farm composting, through sessions at the 2007 Qld Landcare Conference, field trips and the ‘On-farm Composting – The Basic’ workshop; and
- A Healthy Soils Group, to conduct soil testing trials.
